The Access Supply Chain API provides a way to safely creat data into the ASC database, where you are not able to use the standard ASC options. Using API ensures that the updates and validation that would occur when using the ASC client are maintained. The concept is you put the data into one or more API tables and tell ASC to process the data. Data is extracted from the API tables and validated using the ASC rules engine. It will either reject the data or update the ASC database. The API consists for four stages:

  1. Entry

  2. Validation

  3. Updating

  4. Feedback

Any further details would require a discovery session with consultancy. Please speak to your CSM or account manager.
