User receives this error when using VAT code for a UK customer with valid VAT registration:
Message No 2206 - This VAT code does not have a valid accounts VAT code assigned
User created the VAT code themselves after Brexit; it's used for shipments into Europe. This VAT rate has been in use since 2020 when Brexit came in. It was created in the VAT settings menu.
Open the relevant VAT code in VAT code maintenance and check the accounts / Dimensions VAT analysis code assigned to it.
Select System
VAT Rates list
Click Edit
When you click edit, you can amend the rate, description and type. If they are all correct, check if the VAT code added to the part in Stock - Item Maintenance.
