Access Supply Chain uses Enquiry screens for record lists and transaction information and these offer a wide range of search criteria which can be used to find items:

To find Transactions:

  1. Go to relevant ledger (eg Financials) and then press Transaction Enquiry in the ribbon.

  2. In the bottom part of the screen, enter search criteria based on known information by changing the Search Type from Any Value to the relevant type such as Range for Periods or Begins for the Header Ref.

  3. Narrow the search further by including or excluding transaction types using the check boxes near the bottom. If looking for a Journal then untick the From Sales Ledger etc to leave only From Nominal Ledger.

  4. Broaden the date and/or period criteria if necessary and consider that the transaction may be batched or in an unexpected period/year.

To find Records:

  1. Go to relevant ledger (eg Creditors) and then open the Record screen (eg Suppliers) via the ribbon.

  2. In the bottom part of the screen, enter search criteria based on known information by changing the Search Type from Any Value to the relevant type such as Contains for Account Name.

  3. Select the Include Hidden Records option to ensure all records are searched.
