Stock Usage is showing negative figures

I am looking at the stock usage figures either in the stock Usage Report or against the Part Record and they are showing as negative. How do I fix this?

You need to get all of your users out of ASC and run the Recalculate Stock Usage option.

  1. On the Main Menu Select Stock

  2. Click on Product Updates and on the dropdown select Item Master Mass Change

  3. Pick the Special Updates option

  4. Press the Recalculate Stock Usage radio button, then Save

  5. You can then use selection criteria to run it for certain parts or leave it blank to do it for everything, then Save

  6. It will then report how many records will be updated, click on OK

  7. You will then get a message OK to update and the number of parts

  8. If you are happy to proceed select Yes, otherwise No

  9. Process Complete message click on OK
