User created new nominals for a new product on ASC and they have analysis codes linked, but when trying to add the analysis code into the part; it is not listed.
Analysis codes not appearing in part setup despite correct ledger and type. The codes need to be added to the available list of analysis codes, just creating the analysis code isn't enough. There are actually two types in the system:
1. Financial analysis codes used to drive financial postings
2. General analysis codes, used for reporting etc on item master, customer and supplier accounts, and orders
The 10 fields you see on the part master are the I codes and these are all custom defined, so field 7,8, and 9 have been used for financial postings (Which is very common setup) but actually they could of been used for anything other user defined data collection. Go to:
