Installation of an Access Supply Chain may fail to install due and you get the following error.
The installation of the Crystal Reports runtime for .NET SP23 appears to have failed. Do you want to continue the installation?
You select Yes and then you get the message The installation of Crystal 2008 FP3.1 Runtime appears to have failed.
In some cases, the Crystal Reports runtime that is bundled with the Supply Chain Client installer can fail to install. Please complete the following steps to resolve this issue:
For Supply Chain version 7.3.4 and earlier, download the Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package, which is available here
For Supply Chain version 7.3.5 and later, download the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, which is available here.
Click Download.
Tick vc_redist.x64.exe for a 64 bit Windows operating system
Right-click the file downloaded and click Run as Administrator.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Attempt the client install again.
If this fails vcredist_x86 file needs to be run on the machine and this can be obtained from Support.
