To overcome this on the Client PC that is having the issue:

The Client Application folder is usually located on the client PC in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Access Applications\ASCX.X.X

For a 32-bit machine check that CLNCFG in the Client Application folder is populated with the IP address of the Access Supply Chain server or the server name. Right-click on the file and run as administrator. If correct just save down, if not correct, amend and save down.

For a 64-bit machine check that CCIINST in the Client Application folder is populated with the IP address/server name of the Access Supply Chain server. Right-click on the file and run as administrator. If correct just save down, if not correct, amend and save down.

If this does not resolve the issue then temporarily turn off the firewall. If this resolves the issue then the firewall was blocking communication between the client and the server.

Recommended firewall port configuration for Access Supply Chain.
This is valid for any firewall solution and is only required on the server.
Once the changes have been made as per the document then the firewall on the client can be switched on again.
