The user needs to be setup in the Workflow Form (WFF) designer. If this is a new user to WFF there are a few setup steps
They need to to be setup in Access Supply Chain (ASC) as a user with a Personnel Code.
They also need to have opened an ASC Manufacturing option.
The person adding the user needs to locate and run the Workflow Forms Designer which is in Access Programs on the server.
You will require access to the Work Flow Forms Designer (WFF) with appropriate login details.
Go onto the server where the WFF Designer client is installed and run the client.
You will need to login:
User Name sa
Password sa password
If this is the first time of using you will need to enter further details:
Click on the More Button
Application select the drop down to be ASC
Service URL which you get from System, Application Configuration, WFF Configuration within ASC
Click on Logon
If Users are requiring access to workflow forms that already exist within the system then the following can be done to allow them to.
Make a note of the Username of the user that requires access.
Run the Work Flow Forms designer
You will then see a list of the Workflow Forms currently on the system.
Highlight the form that access is required for and click 'Permissions' in the top ribbon.
This will open up a list of all users. If you cannot see this user in the list go back into ASC and you need to add a Personnel Code to their User Record and the user then needs to log in to ASC, Log out and back into the Designer.
Find the user who is requiring access in this list and tick the Active and New boxes against that user record.
Further permissions can be given here such as Edit, Delete, Duplicate and Approve dependent on the Workflow form in question. Ordinarily, these options would be set by basing them on another user with the correct permissions as some users may not need the ability to, for example, delete records.
Once your changes have been made then click Save.
The user will need to restart their instance of Supply Chain and then the Workflow form should be visible to them.
