You can save and manage your Window Layout in Access Supply Chain so that your preferred screen arrangement is preserved and can be restored at any time. If your layout is not displaying correctly after a system update, running a client update for Form Definition Files can help resolve this.
Save a Window Layout
To save your current Window Layout for future use:
Close all open windows within Access Supply Chain.
Click File, then click Window Layout, then click Save Window Layout.
Enter a name for the layout.
Click Save.
Open a Window Layout
To load a previously saved Window Layout:
Close all open windows within Access Supply Chain.
Click File, then click Window Layout, then click Open Window Layout.
Select the required layout from the list.
Click Open in the top left corner of the dialog, or double-click the layout.
Click OK.
Restore a Window Layout
To restore your Window Layout to its default state:
Close all open windows within Access Supply Chain.
Click File, then click Window Layout, then click Restore Window Layout.
A confirmation dialog appears. Click OK.
Run a client update for forms
If your Window Layout is not displaying correctly, running a client update for Form Definition Files can resolve the issue. You will need to do this from your Windows programs.
⚠️Important: The Client Update must be run as Administrator. You may need to contact your IT team if you do not have the required permissions.
Go to your Windows programs and open the Access Applications folder.
Right-click Client Update and select Run as administrator.
Tick the box for Form Definition Files.
Click OK.
Log back in to Access Supply Chain.
Click File, then click Window Layout, then click Restore Window Layout.
