If your invoices have been exported from Access Capture (Readsoft) but are not showing in Access Supply Chain, you can resolve this by checking the document status and restarting the relevant Windows service. Follow the steps below to get this resolved.

📌Note: Documents can take a couple of minutes to appear in Access Supply Chain following a successful export. Allow a few minutes before following the steps below.

Check the document status in Access Capture

Before proceeding, confirm that the document has been successfully exported from Access Capture.

  1. Check that the document status in Readsoft is showing as Documents Exported.

📌Note: This article only applies to documents with a status of Documents Exported. If your document does not show this status, please refer to the relevant article for your specific document status.

Restart the Access File Import Service

If the document status shows Documents Exported but the invoice is still not appearing in Access Supply Chain, ask your IT team to carry out the following steps on the server.

  1. Connect to the server on which Access Supply Chain is installed.

  2. Open Services.

  3. Select the Access File Import Service.

  4. Right-click and select Start.

Once the service is running, your documents will post through to Access Supply Chain.

⚠️Important: In some cases, the account running the Access File Import Service may have had its password changed, causing the service to stop. Ensure the account running the service has the most up-to-date password configured.
